Updated Coursework (after initial submission)

This page will describe the functionality and workflows regarding coursework that has been added/edited/removed after the lead's initial submission.

In DegreeSight, leads have the ability to update their coursework after initial submission. This includes:

• Adding additional coursework/exams.

• Modifying previously submitted coursework (i.e. changing complete dates, grades, and credits).

• Removing previously submitted coursework.

From the lead's view, they'll be shown a message that summarizes their changes:

From your admin view, the following icons will be displayed to notify you that a lead that previously submitted their coursework has made changes on the "Transfer Queue" screen:

You'll see similar icons when drilling down to the lead level view:

At the top of the lead view screen, you'll see the following message:

When you click the "Show changes" toggle, a summary of the coursework changes will be displayed:

Clicking 'Apply Patch' will make the updates official in DegreeSight:

In this example, ART105 from ADELPHI UNIVERSITY was removed and ENG-102 remained unchanged since the originally equivalency granted by the rule remained true.

Please note that if a student updated a course that had previously been granted a course manually with no new rule created, applying the patch would revert the status back to "Pending" from "Approved" and the manually matched course would be removed.

Once the patch has been applied, the icons denoting that the coursework has been updated will be removed.
