# Exam Matches
This page provides the steps to create/edit your exam rules in DegreeSight
### Creating New Exam Rules
* First, browse to 'Main Menu->Settings and Administration->Transfer Rules, Automations, and Assignments->Exam Matches':

* Next, select the type of exam for the rule you'd like to create:

* Next, click "Create New Rule":
* 
* In this example, we're creating a new AP Exam rule.
* First, select the exam for the rule. If at lest 1 rule already exists for that exam, that information will be displayed in read in parenthesis:

* Click '+ Select' on the exam you'd like to use.
* Next, select the course(s) to be granted for the minimum score set and click 'Next':

* Lastly, ensure the 'I acknowledge this change' is checked and click 'Done' to save the rule:

### Editing Existing Exam Rules
* Locate the rule you created using the steps above and click the "..." in the "ACTIONS" column and choose "Edit":

* Next, make your desired changes and click "Next" until you prompted with the "I acknowledge this change" checkbox. Once checked, click "Update" to save your changes:
