Chats

This page reviews the options and functionality of DegreeSight's built-in Chats feature.

If your system doesn't currently have the Chats feature enabled, please submit a support request and our team will enable it right away!

Chats are enabled on a per user level as configured in 'Gear Icon->Manage Team':

Chat Flow

To start a chat, leads will click the "Chat With School" button located on the "Coursework Submissions" screen:

If chat is enabled on their profile, when a school user is logged in and online in DegreeSight, they'll be notified about a new chat:

Chats will then need to be manually assigned to a user by clicking 'Assign to me' and then 'Are you sure?':

Once assigned, the chat may begin:
